SABERS Joining Northern Black Dog 1-Dayer...

Fred will run us up north to join the Black Dog 1-Dayer ride.

Event description:

Black Dog Ride's iconic annual 1 Dayer aims to start a national conversation about depression and suicide prevention. Help us get the country talking and join your local 1 Dayer on 20th March 2022.

8 Australians take their lives every single day, that's one Aussie every 3 hours losing their life to the black dog.

On the third Sunday of March, Black Dog Ride is uniting under one banner with one voice on one single day to amplify a national message of hope, awareness and prevention. Let's get the conversation started, register for the Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer 2022 today!

COVID 19 Arrangements:

Please note that all participants will need to comply with state based COVID related instructions (hand sanitisation, social distancing, etc.)

If this 1 Dayer has to be cancelled due to COVID or related restrictions, all participants will receive a full refund.

North Adelaide 1 Dayer 2022 Details:

8.00am Check in at Gawler Town Council Carpark, Breakfast catered by Gawler Rotary

9.45am Rider Briefing

10.00am Ride departs and we will travel through the Barossa Valley and Barossa Ranges

11.00am Arriving Mt Pleasant for morning tea

11.30am Stands up, then continue through the Adelaide Hills and eventually finishing at approximately 1pm in Murray Bridge for Lunch at the Murraylands Multicultural Yuntu-Walun Festival..

We will meet up with the South Adelaide Ride here

2.30pm Return ride TBA

Plenty of different cultural food vans and stalls to choose from...

Please Note: Online ticket sales for this event will close at Midnight AEST on Saturday 19th March 2022. Limited In person registrations will be available at the event.

Forward notice for weekend run April 09-10 2022 to take in South Australian ferry crossings of the River Murray.

Ferries...Wellington, Tailem Bend/Jervois, Mannum, Purnong, Walker Flat, Swan Reach, Morgan, Cadel, Waikerie and Lyrup...10 crossings spread over 2 days.

Overnight at the Waikerie Gliding Club. Facilities include a bar and communal kitchen. Accommodation link.

Both days over 300 kilometres.

There will be a support vehicle with room for gear, food and drinks.
