SABERS Fool's last ride... What better way to celebrate licence removing demerit points than an April Fool's day ride...? Meet at the OTR MARRYATVILLE, 278 Kensington Road KENSINGTON PARK 0930 for stands up 1000. Morning Tea (plunger coffee/tea and scones) at the Elephants Rest in CALLINGTON about 1100. Fuel up at the BP city side of Mannum if required at about 113km. Lunch at the Palmer Hotel in PALMER about 1300. End of ride in Palmer or head back to Kerry and Alan's place for coffee and cake (Kerry's birthday). Perhaps even stay on for BBQ dinner and kick back taking in the showdown. About 193km all up. SABERS Joining MRASA's Ridden On Ride Meet at the OTR corner West Terrace and Currie Street ADELAIDE 0800 for an 0830 start. Fred will run us down south to join the Ridden On Ride. From MRASA's Facebook: 'MRASA Ridden on Ride Sun 16th April, Victoria Hotel Car Park, Main South Road, O'Halloran Hill from 8.30am for a 10.00am ride to Second Valley for a short memorial service on the back beach. SABERS Tony's Aldinga Airfield ride Meet at the OTR Morphett Vale Outbound 140 South Road MORPHETT VALE by 0900 for an 0930 start. On the LHS heading out of town immediately before the Emu Hotel. Our first stop will be at the Aldinga Airfield cafe for coffee and hopefully see some planes take off and land (50kms). From there we will make our way to the Middleton Tavern for lunch via Delamere (110kms). Fuel stop in Victor Harbor if required. After lunch we will ride to Meadows Bakery where the ride will end (50kms). Total distance 200kms. Location OTR Morphett Vale Outbound 140 South Road MORPHETT VALE
SABERS Nala's reverse Hills ride... Everyone so enjoyed Alan's favourite hills ride I'm stealing most of it and having a go at it in reverse... Meet at the OTR 72 Gorge Road NEWTON 0830 for stands up 0900. Stop at Kangaroo Creek Dam for a looksee... Morning tea at the Amberlight in LOBETHAL about 1000. See if we can drop any more black or any colour bikes at the Palmer lookout about 1100. Lunch at the Mount Pleasant Hotel about midday. Fuel stop Cockatoo Valley about 165km. Toilet stop in WILLIAMSTOWN about 1400. End of ride at 48 Flavours in TRINITY GARDENS about 1530 and about 250km. Location OTR 72 Gorge Road NEWTON
SABERS Tony's run to lunch at MOUNT MARY Meet at the OTR Lot 92 on Main North Road at HILLBANK (cnr Shandon Drive) at 0830 for a 0900 start. We will make our way to Sedan and then on to Swan Reach (114KM) where we will stop for coffee, anyone wanting to top up with fuel can because our next stop will be Morgan for fuel (67 KM) . After fuelling up we will ride to the Mount Mary Hotel for lunch (23KM) . After lunch we will ride to Gawler and finish the ride at Cafe Nova (96KM) total distance (300KM). Location OTR Lot 92 on Main North Road at HILLBANK (cnr Shandon Drive) IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE APPROPRIATELY LICENSED FOR THE BIKE YOU RIDE AND THAT YOUR BIKE IS APPROPRIATELY REGISTERED, INSURED AND ROADWORTHY.
