Black Dog Ride

In case you haven't heard of it, the Black Dog Ride is an annual, national ride to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention.

The full ride takes about a week and goes to Alice Springs but people can be a part of it and contribute to a great cause even if they can't go all the way to Alice.
They can come for a great day ride (or even a part of the day) on Saturday 17th August
They might decide to make a weekend of it and join us and stay at Renmark on Saturday night and ride back to Adelaide on Sunday
They might have 1-2 more days you can be away so you can ride to Port Lincoln or Port Augusta with us to spread the message

In other words how far you ride is up to the individual.

The more bikes we have leaving on August 17th the more it will be noticed and the more we achieve our aim of raising awareness of depression.

As I said, even if people just ride till lunch, the more bikes and people we have at the start the better it is!

Obviously it would be great to go all the way to Alice, but there are heaps of other options.

If all else fails, your members can make a difference to raising awareness of depression simply by being at Glenelg for the start of the ride to cheer us on. The more the merrier!
