MRASA's Toy Run Sunday 03 December 2017 11:00am The Ride on the Day The Toy Run will depart at 11am via the western gate of the Clipsal Track, Wakefield Rd Adelaide. Follow behind Santa and his marshals as they travel along Wakefield Road, turning left onto Hutt Street, left onto Glen Osmond Road, onto the Freeway, turning off at the Callington exit and following the designated route to Callington Oval, arriving at approximately 12 noon. Speeds will remain lower than posted limits: about 40 kph in the suburbs, initially about 60 kph on the Freeway to enable riders who are separated by traffic lights to catch up so that we can present a spectacular mass of motorcycles, then 80 kph to the Callington exit. We will use the centre and left-hand lanes of the Freeway to enable other traffic to pass safely on the outside lane. Please do not speed or change your chosen position in the Run as it can be unsafe and disturbing for others, especially newcomers who are unfamiliar with riding in a large group. Ample bike parking will be available on Oval No. 2 (the back oval). No bike parking will be available on or around Oval No. 1 other than that allocated for displays. SABERS Swanning with Alan Sunday 17 December 2017 09:00am Today's run will take us east to catch some ferries with lunch at Swan Reach. Meet at 0900 for 0930 stands up at the OTR 70 Prospect Road PROSPECT. Lobethal for morning tea. Then off to Mannum via Mount Torrens. Take in Purnong Bend and Walkers Flat. Lunch at the Swan Reach Hotel. Head home through Sedan, Keyneton, Williamstown and Kersbrook with end of ride at The Throttle Shed in One Tree Hill. About 230km. SABERS 2018 Opening Ride Saturday 06 January 2018 09:00am Meet at the OTR 70 Prospect Road PROSPECT 0900 for ride off at 0930. Morning tea at the Clarendon Shop. Lunch at the Yankalilla Bakery. Again we will pull up at Lady Bay to pay respects to one of our founders...Tim Hunt. Fuel stop at the Caltex in Victor Harbor. Finish ride at the Meadows Bakery. Approx.290km.
