Quoting the blurb from IMDB:
"A 39-year-old ex-motocross legend yearns to rekindle the glory of his youth. A 36-year-old ad-man seeks creative redemption, before it's too late. When fate brings them together an extraordinary shared dream is born: to finish and film the Dakar Rally, the world's most dangerous motor race."
Having followed the Dakar in 2012, I can personally vouch for the toughness of the event. Even following and watching it is vbery hard at times, let alone what it is like for the competitors. The 4.30am wake-ups to travel the transport stages that sometimes run to 200+ kms, then completing competitive stages that run up to 200+ per day, and then sleeping under a tarp next to your bike with some of your gear on ready for the next day. These are harsh conditions, from desert sand to alpine regions, sea level to 5,000 metres plus. This documentary is worth a look.
